    Digital competences in public education teachers: A systematic review

    El objetivo fue analizar el impacto de las competencias digitales en docentes de la educación básica. Para ello se ha precedido con la metodología establecida en la Declaración PRISMA, Para ello, se realizaron búsquedas combinadas mediante el uso de palabras claves en bases a la información científica de Scopus, EBSCO, Proquest, Springer y otros, en un periodo de tres años. Durante la investigación se han trabajado con flujo de información de las diferentes fases de la declaración Prisma estas son el proceso de identificación, cribado, elegibilidad e inclusión se desarrolló en cuatro meses. De los 149 estudios que arrojó la búsqueda especializada, solamente se incluyeron 15. Criterios de inclusión: artículos de investigación, revisiones sistemáticas y estudios de caso, se orientó a la revisión y recopilación sistemática de las investigaciones que se realizaron sobre las competencias digitales en docentes de la educación básica. Criterios de exclusión: se excluyeron aquellas investigaciones que no fueron sometidas a un proceso de revisión, con deficiencias metodológicas o que no demostraron relación o interrelación entre las variables mencionadas anteriormente. Los resultados indican que las competencias digitales en docentes de la educación básica; han sido determinantes en los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje.The objective was to analyze the impact of digital competences in basic education teachers. To do this, the methodology established in the PRISMA Declaration has been preceded.     Las relaciones interpersonales en el desempeño laboral docente

    The general objective of this research was to design a program of strategies based on interpersonal relationships to optimize teacher work performance in the Juan Bautista Aguirre Educational Unit, Daule 2020 District. The quantitative approach was used, applied type, non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive design; For data collection, the survey and questionnaire with 24 questions applied to 72 teachers from the three ordinary days were used, then it was processed in Microsoft Excel and the SPSS version 26 program was used for the analysis. The data in the tables show that interpersonal relationships are not appropriate and this affects teacher job performance. The results related to the variable interpersonal relationships, teachers rated 78% poor, 19% fair and 3% good; It is appreciated that teachers do not relate easily and this contributes to the emergence of complications in the development of their work activities; Regarding the variable teacher job performance, 69% rate a poor level, 28% regular and 3% good, they consider that the job performance of teachers in the different pedagogical activities is not optimal.La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo general diseñar un programa de estrategias basadas en relaciones interpersonales para optimizar el desempeño laboral docente en la Unidad Educativa Juan Bautista Aguirre, Distrito Daule 2020. Se empleó el enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental, transversal, descriptivo; para la recolección de los datos se utilizó la encuesta y el cuestionario con 24 interrogantes   aplicado a 72 docentes de las tres jornadas ordinarias, luego se procesaron en Microsoft Excel y para el análisis se empleó el programa SPSS versión 26. Los datos de las tablas evidencian que las relaciones interpersonales no son apropiadas y ello afecta el desempeño laboral docente. Los resultados relacionados a la variable relaciones interpersonales, los docentes calificaron el 78% deficiente, el 19% regular y el 3% bueno; se aprecia que los docentes no se relacionan fácilmente y ello contribuye al surgimiento de complicaciones en el desarrollo de sus actividades laborales; en torno a la variable desempeño laboral docente el 69% califica nivel deficiente, el 28% regular y el 3% bueno, consideran que el desempeño laboral de los docentes en las diferentes actividades pedagógicas no es óptimo

    Inteligencia emocional para mejorar el pensamiento crítico

    The objective of the research was to propose an emotional intelligence program to improve the critical thinking of second year high school science students of the Aida León de Rodríguez Lara Educational Unit, Guayaquil 2021. The research methodology was of applied type, with a quantitative approach; and non-experimental design of transactional scope, the sample was a census of 60 students, the technique employee for data collection was the survey and as an instrument a questionnaire was used for the two research variables, the instruments were validated according to expert judgment and then proceeded with the reliability test of Cronbach’s Alpha resulting for the independent variable a level of 0.092 and for the dependent variable 0.896 concluding that the instruments are truthful. The most significant conclusion is that students expose their thoughts as they conceive them without stopping to think about the consequences of their statements or those who may be harmed, causing problems in the interrelationship with the peers, they do not usually contribute with solutions to a problem due to lack of initiative. Finally, they do not know how to influence people to get out of any circumstance achieving things a favor.La investigación tuvo como objetivo plantear un programa de inteligencia emocional para mejorar el pensamiento crítico de los estudiantes de segundo año de bachillerato en ciencias de la Unidad Educativa Aida León Rodríguez Lara, Guayaquil 2021. La metodología de investigación fue de tipo aplicado, con un enfoque cuantitativo; y diseño no experimental de alcance transaccional, la muestra fue censal de 60 estudiantes, la técnica empleada para la recolección de datos fue la encuesta y como instrumento se utilizó un cuestionario para las dos variables de investigación, los instrumentos fueron validados según juicio de expertos y luego se procedió con la prueba de confiabilidad del Alfa Cronbach resultando para la variable independiente un nivel de 0,902 y para la variable dependiente 0,896 concluyéndose que los instrumentos son confiables. La conclusión más significativa es que los estudiantes exponen sus pensamientos tal cual los conciben sin detenerse a pensar acerca de las consecuencias de sus declaraciones ni a quienes pueden vulnerar originando problemas en la interrelación con sus compañeros, no suelen contribuir con soluciones frente a un problema debido a la falta de iniciativa, y, por último, no saben influir sobre las personas para lograr salir de cualquier circunstancia logrando cosas a favor

    In this investigation, a dogmatic legal study of the Tax Code was carried out, of the first book of the Tax Code, an aspect that is important for those who specialize in this matter and mainly the general public to be unaware of the tax area from the central to the sectional and that involves us daily for being a contributor to the state. Currently in our country the tax code that suffered the latest reforms since August 21, 2018, where within its contents and specifically in its first book guides us about the substantive rules to be subdivided as follows title first "Fundamental Provisions "Where they are, 14 Arts, Title Two" Of the Tax Obligation, in which it has seven chapters and 48 Arts, the title Three speaks to us about the "Tax Administration", which has two chapters and eight articles. Taxation in Ecuador was born in the 18th century, with taxes that ranged from the social position held by citizens to the bureaucracy of that time and then generated tributes for citizenship in general. A state like ours, although it is not a company to function as such because it requires income in order to allocate them to cover their needs, specifically requires income to spend, technically called double entry that is a part of the public budget. primordial then is to guarantee its citizens life, liberty, justice, security, peace and national development, understanding that spending in the public sector is abundant and handled with utmost care because of the emanate responsibility as those of their own business ; There are three major sources of income in our country firstly oil is found, the second place the taxes this income is a way to obtain economic income for the fulfillment of its mainly social purposes, it is necessary then in this matter the mandatory application of the principles rectors established in the constitution, of the tax regime Arts, 298, in accordance with Art. 5 of the Tax Code such as generality, progressivity, efficiency, administrative simplicity, non-retroactivity, equity, transparency, tax collection sufficiency; its purpose to guarantee the development of the nation.En esta investigación se efectuó un estudio jurídico doctrinario del Código Tributario, del primer libro, aspecto que es importante para que quienes se especializan en esta materia y principalmente la ciudadanía en general que desconoce del ámbito tributario desde la gestiono administración lo central hasta llegar al seccional y que nos involucra a diario por ser contribuyentes con el estado. Actualmente en nuestro país el código tributario que sufrió las últimas reformas desde el 29 de junio de 2022, dentro de sus contenidos y específicamente en su primer libro nos orienta acerca de las normas sustantivas que subdividirse de la siguiente manera título primero “Disposiciones Fundamentales” en donde se encuentran, 14 Arts, titulo segundo “De la Obligación Tributaria, en mismo que cuenta con siete capítulos y 48 Arts, el titulo Tres nos habla acerca de la “Administración tributaria”, él que cuenta con dos capítulos y ocho artículos. La tributación en el Ecuador nace en el siglo 18, con tributos que abarcaban desde la posición social que mantenían los ciudadanos hasta llegar a la burocracia de aquel entonces para luego generarse tributos para la ciudadanía en general. Un estado como el nuestro si bien no es una empresa de funcionar como tal pero que requiere de ingresos a fin de destinarlos a cubrir sus necesidades, en concreto requiere ingresos para gastar, técnicamente se denomina esta ecuación partida doble que es una parte de la ascienda pública el objetivo primordial entonces es garantizar a sus ciudadanos la vida, la libertad, justicia, seguridad, paz y el desarrollo nacional, entendiéndose  que el gasto en el sector público es abundante y manejado con sumo cuidado ya que de él emanan responsabilidades que podrían devenir en ser justiciables. Existen tres grandes fuentes de ingresos en nuestro país primeramente se encuentra el petróleo, el segundo lugar la los tributos para en un tercer lugar dejar a la agricultura, estos ingresos constituyen forma de movilizar  la economía fiscal para el cumplimiento de sus fines principalmente sociales, es necesario entonces en esta materia la aplicación obligatoria de los principios rectores establecidos en la constitución, del régimen tributario Arts, 298, en concordancia con el Art. 5 del Código Tributario como son generalidad, progresividad, eficiencia, simplicidad administrativa, irretroactividad, equidad, transparencia, suficiencia recaudatoria; su finalidad garantizar el desarrollo de la nació

    El presente estudio de investigación corresponde a un enfoque mixto de investigación, de tipo propositivo, con la que se pretende analizar el proceso de estimulación de la lecto escritura, desarrollando aspectos que favorezcan el desarrollo motriz y social, utilizando la Biodanza como una estrategia innovadora e integradora. En el desarrollo del mismo se tuvo en cuenta la conceptualización de los  procesos de enseñanza partiendo de tareas concretas y encuentros de discusión para redefinir los procesos de inclusión en las aulas de formación universitaria; así como la alineación a los planes estratégicos de la Universidad y de la Región de Lambayeque en el Perú. La muestra seleccionada para el proceso de investigación ha sido no probabilística e intencional para lo cual se contó con 40 niños de un aula de 4 años de la I.E.I 440 Las flores de la Pradera por encontrarse ubicado en una zona vulnerable y de poco acceso a programas educativos. Como resultado fundamental se diseñó una estrategia de biodanza a partir de la descripción fenomenológica de las dificultades presentes en el proceso de aprendizaje de la lectoescritura

    Calmodulin-like proteins localized to the conoid regulate motility and cell invasion by Toxoplasma gondii

    Toxoplasma gondii contains an expanded number of calmodulin (CaM)-like proteins whose functions are poorly understood. Using a combination of CRISPR/Cas9-mediated gene editing and a plant-like auxin-induced degron (AID) system, we examined the roles of three apically localized CaMs. CaM1 and CaM2 were individually dispensable, but loss of both resulted in a synthetic lethal phenotype. CaM3 was refractory to deletion, suggesting it is essential. Consistent with this prediction auxin-induced degradation of CaM3 blocked growth. Phenotypic analysis revealed that all three CaMs contribute to parasite motility, invasion, and egress from host cells, and that they act downstream of microneme and rhoptry secretion. Super-resolution microscopy localized all three CaMs to the conoid where they overlap with myosin H (MyoH), a motor protein that is required for invasion. Biotinylation using BirA fusions with the CaMs labeled a number of apical proteins including MyoH and its light chain MLC7, suggesting they may interact. Consistent with this hypothesis, disruption of MyoH led to degradation of CaM3, or redistribution of CaM1 and CaM2. Collectively, our findings suggest these CaMs may interact with MyoH to control motility and cell invasion

    Extragenital Müllerian adenosarcoma with pouch of Douglas location

    Background: Of all female genital tract tumors, 1-3% are stromal malignancies. In 8-10% of cases, these are represented by Mullerian adenosarcoma an extremely rare tumor characterized by a stromal component of usually low-grade malignancy and by a benign glandular epithelial component. Variant that arises in the pouch of Douglas is scarcely mentioned in the medical literature.Case Presentation: A 49-year-old para-0 woman, was seen at our OB/GYN-UNIT because she complained vaguely of pelvic pain. She had a mass of undefined nature in the pouch of Douglas. A simple excision of the mass showed low-grade Mullerian adenosarcoma with areas of stromal overgrowth. One and a half year after surgery, at another hospital, a mass was detected in the patient's posterior vaginal fornix and removed surgically. Six months later she came back to our observation with vaginal bleeding and mass in the vaginal fornix. We performed radical surgery. The pathological examination showed recurrent adenosarcoma. Surgical treatment was supplemented by radiation therapy.Conclusions: The case of Mullerian adenosarcoma reported here is the third known so far in the literature that was located in the pouch of Douglas. To date, only two other such cases have been reported, including one resulting from neoplastic degeneration of an endometriotic cyst

    Neuroprotective Effect of Combination Therapy of Glatiramer Acetate and Epigallocatechin-3-Gallate in Neuroinflammation

    Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an inflammatory autoimmune disease of the central nervous system. However, studies of MS and the animal model, experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE), indicate that neuronal pathology is the principle cause of clinical disability. Thus, there is need to develop new therapeutic strategies that not only address immunomodulation but also neuroprotection. Here we show that the combination therapy of Glatiramer acetate (GA), an immunomodulatory MS therapeutic, and the neuroprotectant epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), the main phenol in green tea, have synergistic protective effects in vitro and in the EAE model. EGCG and GA together led to increased protection from glutamate- and TRAIL-induced neuronal cell death in vitro. EGCG combined with GA induced regeneration of hippocampal axons in an outgrowth assay. The combined application of EGCG and GA did not result in unexpected adverse events in vivo. Neuroprotective and neuroregenerative effects could be translated in the in vivo model, where combination treatment with EGCG and GA significantly delayed disease onset, strongly reduced clinical severity, even after onset of symptoms and reduced inflammatory infiltrates. These results illustrate the promise of combining neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory treatments and strengthen the prospects of EGCG as an adjunct therapy for neuroinflammatory and neurodegenerative diseases

    Expression of steroid receptor coactivator 3 in ovarian epithelial cancer is a poor prognostic factor and a marker for platinum resistance

    BACKGROUND: Steroid receptor coactivator 3 (SRC3) is an important coactivator of a number of transcription factors and is associated with a poor outcome in numerous tumours. Steroid receptor coactivator 3 is amplified in 25% of epithelial ovarian cancers (EOCs) and its expression is higher in EOCs compared with non-malignant tissue. No data is currently available with regard to the expression of SRC-3 in EOC and its influence on outcome or the efficacy of treatment. METHODS: Immunohistochemistry was performed for SRC3, oestrogen receptor-α, HER2, PAX2 and PAR6, and protein expression was quantified using automated quantitative immunofluorescence (AQUA) in 471 EOCs treated between 1991 and 2006 with cytoreductive surgery followed by first-line treatment platinum-based therapy, with or without a taxane. RESULTS: Steroid receptor coactivator 3 expression was significantly associated with advanced stage and was an independent prognostic marker. High expression of SRC3 identified patients who have a significantly poorer survival with single-agent carboplatin chemotherapy, while with carboplatin/paclitaxel treatment such a difference was not seen. CONCLUSION: Steroid receptor coactivator 3 is a poor prognostic factor in EOCs and appears to identify a population of patients who would benefit from the addition of taxanes to their chemotherapy regimen, due to intrinsic resistance to platinum therapy
